About the course

Vale do Lobo Royal Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout extending to 6,059 metres in the central Algarve. Inaugurated in 1997, it was designed by Rocky Roquemore from original drawings by Sir Henry Cotton. Pine-lined fairways, lakes and wildflower planting frame a course where accuracy from the tee matters. The ninth uses an island green, while the clifftop par-three 16th crosses the red sandstone edge above the Atlantic and is the course’s defining visual feature. Together with the neighbouring Ocean Course, Royal gives owners around Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo two clearly different full-length options.
