About the course

Santa Clara Golf Marbella is an 18-hole, par-71 course in eastern Marbella, designed by Enrique Canales Busquets and opened in 2001. The parkland routing uses broad fairways, water, bunkering and changing elevation while keeping mountain and Mediterranean views in play. It is generally more forgiving from the tee than the narrow mountain courses west of Marbella, but approach placement still matters around shaped greens. The sequence known as Santa Clara Corner — the par-four 12th, par-three 13th and par-five 14th — provides the clearest sustained test, asking for both length and accuracy. Practice facilities, a pro shop, buggy services and clubhouse dining support visitor golf. Its location is the main local distinction: it provides modern full-length golf on Marbella’s eastern side rather than within Nueva Andalucía’s denser Golf Valley.
