About the course
La Manga Club's South Course is an 18-hole, par-73 layout measuring 6,499 metres from the white tees. Wide fairways provide scale, but 15 water obstacles ensure that space does not remove the need for careful positioning. The two nines ask different questions. Long par threes and drives between lakes and bunkers make the opening nine the more demanding stretch, while the shorter inward half uses several doglegs to test angles from the tee. Spanish Opens and men's and women's PGA qualifying championships form part of the course's tournament record, adding competitive context to its long, water-led design.
