About the course

La Cala Golf is the centrepiece of La Cala Resort in the hills behind La Cala de Mijas. Its three 18-hole championship courses, Campo America, Campo Asia and Campo Europa, were designed by Cabell B. Robinson and use the natural contours of the Andalusian landscape in different ways. America combines elevation changes with broad views towards the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean. Asia is the oldest and most exacting, rewarding careful positioning and precise approach play. Europa has wider fairways, flatter ground and larger greens, making it the most approachable of the three. America and Asia play to par 72, while Europa is par 71. Together they offer contrasting rounds within one resort, supported by the Golf Hub, academy and short-course practice facilities. Residential ownership nearby is separate from green-fee access and membership arrangements.
