About the course
La Cala Resort Campo Europa is an 18-hole, par-71 Cabell B. Robinson course following the Ojén River valley behind La Cala de Mijas. The 6,014-metre layout uses broader fairways, flatter ground and larger greens than the resort's America and Asia courses, giving it a more approachable visual character. The river crosses three fairways and influences play on eight holes, so water still shapes several important decisions. Four tunnels and five bridges connect the routing across the valley. The long 233-metre 14th is a notable par three with water guarding the target, while the 524-metre 11th is the course's longest hole. Europa provides the resort's most open full-length option without losing the landscape and risk-and-reward character of the Mijas setting.
