About the course
La Cala Short Course is a nine-hole, par-27 layout beside the Golf Hub, academy and driving range at La Cala Resort. The present course expands the resort's former six-hole par-three facility with three additional holes, creating a compact round for short-game practice, beginners, juniors and experienced golfers with limited time. Elevated tees and changing hole shapes give the short layout more variety than a simple practice loop. Views extend across the surrounding hills towards the Mediterranean. Players can book nine holes or complete two circuits for an 18-hole, par-54 score. Its position alongside the wider practice facilities makes the course a useful everyday golf option for owners and visitors based around La Cala de Mijas.
