About the course
Miraflores Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 course in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa. Falco Nardi completed the design, following an initial concept by Robert Trent Jones, and the course opened in 1990. Its 5,148-metre yellow-tee layout follows the contours of a valley and plays flatter than the surrounding residential terrain first suggests. Each hole presents a distinct line, with changes in elevation, established trees and compact playing corridors placing more emphasis on accuracy than length. The club completed a programme of green replacement in 2014, alongside a redesign of the 15th green and its waterfall feature. Miraflores combines an established members' club identity with a practical position close to Riviera del Sol and the coast.
