About the course
Altaona Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 course by Stirling & Martin Golf Architects. It winds through a gently rolling, arid landscape in broad corridors, where sparse planting leaves the shape of the ground in clear view. The fairways provide room to choose a line, but lakes, sand bunkers and scattered trees make accuracy important as the hole develops. Its restrained desert styling gives the course a character of its own within Murcia, while the easy topography also makes walking a practical option. A practice area, putting green and chipping green provide space to work on each part of the game.
