About the course
Mar Menor Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 course built as two contrasting nines. Dave Thomas designed the opening half with tighter fairways and rough, plus generous greens guarded by large bunkers and nearby lakes. The Nicklaus Design second nine opens the view with broader fairways and wider rough, changing both the scale and the preferred lines from the tee. Water returns as the central issue at holes 13, 14 and 15, where a large lake shapes three consecutive holes. The practice facilities include a range, putting green, chipping green and a separate practice hole.
