About the course
Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is a private 18-hole, par-71 members’ club in Nueva Andalucía’s Golf Valley. Robert Trent Jones Sr designed the original course in 1968, with botanical landscaping by Gerald Huggan; Kyle Phillips later updated the layout while restoring key Jones principles. Water, bunkers and angled green complexes place a premium on choosing the correct side of fairways, while plant species from several continents give the course a garden-like character unusual on the Costa del Sol. Its tournament history includes the World Cup, Spanish Opens and the 2023 Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España. Dining, social events and practice facilities support a traditional club environment rather than a visitor-led resort model.
