Talay Horizon

The Talay Beach Horizon Collection brings shoreline-inspired architecture to standalone villas with four, five or six bedrooms in the gated Talay Beach community at Marsa Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. Clean horizontal forms, deep overhangs and carefully integrated screens give each home shade, privacy and a sense of calm. Two façade variations are offered.

Materials carry the design. A restrained palette of natural stone, refined metal detailing and warm timber soffits gives the elevations a grounded, coastal character. The deep overhangs cast shade across the façade, and the integrated screens filter the sun and give the rooms behind them privacy. Of the two Talay Beach looks, this is the more sheltered one, with shade and privacy built into the architecture.

The same care continues inside, with a light or a dark interior scheme to choose from. Leathered marble lines the stairs, engineered wood runs through the bedrooms and porcelain tile covers the living and wet areas. Engineered stone tops the show kitchen and bathroom vanities, with wood veneer doors and joinery. Behind the show kitchen, a separate daily kitchen handles everyday cooking.

Every Horizon villa is planned over two floors around family routines. The ground floor has a formal entrance, formal living and dining rooms and a wide family living and dining area, with the maid's room, laundry, service entrance and storage with space for a provisional lift alongside. Upstairs are the principal suite with walk-in closet, further bedrooms with bathrooms and closets, a family retreat and balconies. The five- and six-bedroom plans add a ground-floor guest bedroom and a second family living room on the first floor, and each villa has its own private garden.

Around the villas, Talay Beach is a gated community with 24/7 security and community maintenance. Shaded paths, landscaped green spaces and an Aflaj water feature run through it, with padel courts, a community pool and kids' pool, a gym and a harvest garden for residents. Woven Areesh screens, created with Emirati artist Abdalla Almulla, appear on the boundary walls. Saadiyat Beach Golf Course, the Cultural District and the marina are all nearby on Saadiyat Island.
