About the course

Saadiyat Beach Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course on Saadiyat Island and was introduced as the Arabian Gulf’s first beachfront course. Gary Player designed the original layout; the back nine has since been redesigned in partnership with Nicklaus Design, so buyers should not assume that older descriptions represent the current routing throughout. The course combines maintained fairways with coastal dunes, sea air and habitat used by island wildlife, producing a setting unlike Abu Dhabi’s inland parkland clubs. Its beachfront position also connects golf with Saadiyat’s wider resort and cultural district. Practice facilities form part of the club offer. This is an operating public-facing golf venue, but residence on Saadiyat does not by itself confer membership, preferred tee times or playing rights.
