El Higueral is a full-length nine-hole, par-36 course on the lower slopes near Benahavís. Rather than functioning as a short par-three facility, it provides a conventional mix of holes that can be played as a compact round. The routing follows gently rising foothill ground, with lakes, shaped greens and changing vistas supplying much of the strategy. Water is a recurring consideration, so position and distance control matter even though the course is shorter to complete than its 18-hole neighbours. Its scale and informal format make it useful for regular practice, a quicker game or players building confidence before tackling the area’s longer mountain layouts. For buyers, the key distinction is convenience and nine-hole flexibility, not resort-championship status.
